Hell Mode is back for a second season this summer. The official website for the anime adaptation of Hamuo and Mo's isekai light novel series Hell Mode: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing has revealed a new promotional video, additional cast members, the opening theme song, and a firm premiere date of July 3, 2026.

The second season will premiere on MBS and BS NTV in Japan, with international streaming on HIDIVE (including an English dub). Based on the light novel series by Hamuo (writer) and Mo (illustrator), Hell Mode follows a hardcore gamer who is reincarnated in another world with absurdly overpowered settings and uses his gaming knowledge and persistence to dominate. The series began on Shousetsuka ni Narou in November 2019, with print publication by Earth Star Entertainment since July 2020. A manga adaptation by Tetta began serialization in Comic Earth Star in October 2020.
