Kadokawa has revealed the July 8, 2026 premiere date for the Korean-animated adaptation of the popular webtoon Tomb Raider King, along with two new character promotional videos. The series, based on the webtoon by 3B2S, Yuns (REDICE STUDIO), SAN.G, and P-crush, is one of the most anticipated Korean animation (동화) releases of the summer.

Japanese Dub Cast Revealed

The Japanese dub cast features notable voice talent, including Saori Hayami as Irene Holton and Miyu Irino as Kōtarō Yanagi. Additional cast members include Yoshimasa Hosoya, Junichi Suwabe, and Nobuhiko Okamoto.

Staff and Production

Seung Wook Woo is directing the series at STUDIO EEK, and is also overseeing the series scripts. Hyun-Jung Lee is the character designer and chief animation director, with Hyung Jun Heo also serving as chief animation director. Ju Young Kim is composing the music. Opening Theme

Korean girl group QWER will perform the opening theme song "Show Down." This marks the group's first anime tie-up, and the song will feature Japanese lyrics.

The series will air in Japan with a Japanese dub starting July 8 on Fuji TV's B8station programming block. The series will also hold a "world premiere" screening of its first 2 episodes on June 13 at the Science Hall of the Science Museum in Tokyo, with a simultaneous online stream of the cast's stage greeting on the Kadokawa Anime YouTube channel.
